Redwood City, California, October 23, 2007 – Visto, the leading global provider of secure, easy-to-use mobile email, today announced it has won two Gold Mobile Star Awards™ and two Silver Mobile Star Awards from MobileVillage®, the 14-year leader in market development and news services about mobile technology.

Visto received a Gold Star Award in the Consumer Software: Mobile Communications (Email) category for Visto Mobile™, a breakthrough mobile email service that integrates personal and professional information into a mobile device – helping busy professionals achieve a work-life balance. The service, which is available from leading mobile operators worldwide, provides complete push email that is secure from end to end, supported 24x7 and available on popular mobile handsets and wireless networks. Visto Mobile also earned two Silver Star Awards in the Enterprise Software: Mobile Communications and the Consumer Professional Software: Information Management categories.

In addition, Brian Bogosian, Visto’s chairman, president and CEO, was recognized with a Gold Star Award for his visionary leadership and strategic guidance as the leader of a mobile solutions company.

“The Mobile Star Awards program was developed to recognize the ground-breaking products and inspiring leaders that are shaping the wireless industry,” says MobileVillage Editor Gary Thayer. “This year nearly 2,000 MobileVillage readers cast votes for companies like Visto, a four-year winner and a leader in the mobile messaging market.  These people have a great knowledge of mobile products and are eager to recognize the accomplishments of these leading organizations.”

The annual Mobile Star Awards aim to honor and promote the best companies, products, deployments and leaders in mobile and wireless technology.  Winners are chosen by subscribers to Go Mobile®, MobileVillage’s free online newsletter sent to technology executives, mobile professionals, IT managers, developers and top tech journalists.

“We are honored that the mobile community has recognized Visto’s achievements for a fourth consecutive year,” said Brian Bogosian, chairman, president and CEO of Visto.  “Visto has experienced a phenomenal year underscored by significant product advancements and continued growth on both the customer and partnership front. We will continue to innovate and work with our carrier customers and partners to make Visto Mobile easier to use and accessible to everyone who wants mobile email.”

In the past year, Visto has increased its subscriber base by 250 percent by adding new customers and partners in North America, Europe and Asia. With the launch of Visto Mobile 5.7, Visto is now compatible with more than 130 mobile devices worldwide. In 2007, Visto became one of the first email providers to directly offer secure and easy-to-use mobile access to corporate email for the iPhone in the United States.
